My friend did a cute blog post about her two year old's birthday by taking us through his day hour by hour. I decided to steal the idea.
7:00ish Baby wakes up
Still a little tired.
7:30- breakfast of scrambled eggs.
Mmmmmmm...
8:00 Drive kids to school
9:00 Nap
11:00 Wake up
12:00 Lunch and trip to the library!
12:30- Exploring our newly opened library.
3:00 Pick up kids from school even though we really wanted a nap an hour ago.
3:40- Second nap
5:00 Dinner
6:00 Open presents
6:30 Party with cake!
The cake was a failure AGAIN. I had big plans to make stabilized whipped cream for the icing but in the last step it all went to pot. It separated and turned into this red goo. So I just made normal frosting and gave up. It made her cake look like a piece of watermelon when it was supposed to be a butterfly. It tasted good though.
This is the Baby's favorite person other than me. She is Girl Child 1's best friend and she LOVES our baby.
Baby was pretty dainty about eating her cake.
This is the token baby we invited to her "party". The Girl Child and her friend demanded we invite another baby.
Happy Birthday to my baby girl. You are such a sweetheart and everyone loves you and will do anything to make you laugh. Your favorite things to say are: Mama, Dada, and thank you.
