A Happy Birthday and a Cello

Our baby turned two.  She is the cutest thing and partly because she only likes a select number of people.  It makes people try harder to gain her trust and affection.

The kids voted she needed a "Woof Woof" cake.  The kids helped decorate it.... that is my excuse at least for its appearance.
The kids demanded we invite over a friend the Baby's age.  She didn't really figure out how to blow out the candles by herself.  In all honesty she didn't love her "party".  She was super glad when everyone went home or went to bed (in her siblings case) and she could play with her new presents in peace.

She loves to sing and can sing "Let it go" and "Jesus wants me for a Sunbeam."  Her first full sentence was, "Where Mama?"  She says this to Brent fifty times while I'm at mutual.  Then he says, "Mutual." and she says, "Oh."  Then she says, "Where Mama?"  What can I say?  She loves me.

One cool thing Iowa has going on is its music program.  MC1 gets to do Orchestra this year and we only had to pay $25 to rent the cello for the year.  Its pretty sweet.  He loves it!  He also admitted after the first day that I was right and learning the piano first made everything easier.  Score one for Mom!
