We have had a crazy two weeks starting with MC2's birthday. We then planned to go see my brother but Brent had been sick for a week and finally went to the doctor and found out he had Bronchitis. So we stayed up so he could get better and not get anyone else sick. MC1 and I had a date at the pool. He passed the Deep Water test at the pool so we went to have fun together. We did EVERYTHING at the pool and had a blast. I do admit that the drop slide was super scary. He loved it though. I don't know where this dare devil came from. Then we had MC1's birthday and then family started trickling in for the baptism.
Brent's mom came in and we had fun with her for a few days before everyone else came.
The day of MC1's baptism we went to Ledges.
The kids loved it. I think we should go in the summer more often and just soak.
Then we came back to prepare for the baptism. MC1 got to be baptized with his friend who we first met when we moved here. MC1 thinks they look like twins.
Here are the two awesome guys together right before.
The baptism was awesome. There was one other kid from the other ward and although he doesn't have red hair his mom and grandpa do so there was a lot of red head talk. MC1 had his toe come up during the baptism so he had to get baptized again. The Girl Child said afterwards, "Mom, its so cool he had to get baptized twice because that means he gets double the Holy Ghost!"
Then we just had tons of awesome grandparent time.
One day we went bowling.
This is my favorite. Love that nose crinkle.
I need to crop this one. Its cute.
This is the crazy big insect we found at the park.
On our last day of grandparents the girls went and got pedicures done. Its my second one ever and the Girl's first. She did great and loved it. She loves anything girly.
Sorry about the randomness of the pictures. I stole all of these off of Facebook.
There was a party at the park thrown by the Police Department and MC1 actually hit the thing to dunk the police officer.
The Girl Child also made it into the newspaper.
