Busy, busy busy. That is our family right now. MC2 has been studying weather and we made an anemometer for his classroom. It was pretty awesome. I found the plan and then turned it over to Brent to make.
Once again my kids' lost their best friends. I'm telling you living in a college town and making friends with fellow students is rough on your social life and your kids' as well. MC2 lost his best friend. They were practically brothers and fought and played like they were. Its been a tough loss.
They were also the only people the baby would let watch her. Sigh. She loved them. She's not a fan of most people so it was awesome, but not anymore.
This is our farewell party. MC1 took the pictures.
Last week was rough. It started out with a psychology appointment for GC1. I got there on time and discovered that was supposed to be in a town an hour away! How did I miss that important detail? But they still wanted to see us. I was all for changing the appointment but we've been working toward getting this appointment since NOVEMBER! The doctor had cleared her entire morning for us so they still wanted us to come. The GPS could not pick up a signal that entire day and I got horribly lost so two hours later we made it and miraculously they still wanted us to come.
GC1 did the appointment in an hour and a 1/2. Ten tests without breaks! She was amazing. They diagnosed her as having mild anxiety and mild ADD. They will retest next year for dyslexia.
Then the next day MC2 had a "procedure" at the dentist. They knocked him out to put eight caps on his molars because his enamel formed wrong on his baby teeth and he had some major cavities and MC2 is not extremely cooperative at the dentist. Thankfully Brent took him and he came home super happy. He thought the whole thing had been great and didn't remember any of the bad moments.
That day the Baby was acting sickly and we discovered she had croup. So then we had a week of quarantine and then General Conference.
This is what the kids did during one of the sessions...
This is what Daddy did during a lot of the sessions.
You can tell the baby loves getting her picture taken.
Last night we went to a pajama party at MC2's school and got these great masks. Everyone thought they were hilarious, especially the baby.
MC1 has started soccer.
